Zahra Eljaddid

In full Fatima-Zahra Eljadid is an Antwerp-based visual artist & illustrator.

In 2021, she illustrated the book 'KRUIMELDIEF' with her sister Hind Eljadid. She is gradually working on her own Graphic Novel 'In de Kantlijn' and on various exhibitions, projects, murals, productions and animations.

In 2022 to 2023, she was house artist at c o r s o schouwburg in Berchem, and on 16 September this year, her first production also took place at Campo&Campo in residence at deSingel, this performance was a hybrid between fashion and wearable installation art. She shaped this together with Hind Eljadid and Ornella Somanza.

Since 2023, she has been artist-in-residence at Archipel/Rooftoptiger in Antwerp and was recognised as a super nominee at the gala of the Gouden Reuskes in Borgerhout twice, this year she is also among the nominees BorgerMondo.

In May 2024, in collaboration with the Arenberg, Hind Eljadid and Nyiragasigwa Hens, the theatre play Crumb Thief premiered. Keep an eye on the website for upcoming performances in this year.
